April/May or October/November are pleasant. December to February, dry and cold. June to September, hot and
polluted (rainstorms offer respite); oddly, this is peak season.
Arriving in Běijīng
Běijīng Capital International Airport Airport Express (¥25, 30 minutes, 6.30am to
11pm) links up with subway system. If taking a taxi (¥80 to ¥100), use official taxi rank
only.
