Note that only the Sharjah and Ajman services return passengers to Dubai. From the other
towns, you have to return by local taxi or bus. Routes are generally served between 6am
and 11pm.
Buses to Al Ain and Abu Dhabi leave from Al Ghubaiba station. There's also a 24-hour
service to Sharjah with departures every 30 minutes between midnight and 6am.

The Roads and Transport Authority ( Click here ) also operates hourly buses to Hatta (Dh7,
2ΒΌ hours) leaving from Al Sabkha (cnr Al-Sabkha St & Deira St, Deira) station in the heart of the
Deira souqs.

Dubai has scores of car-rental agencies, from major global companies to no-name local
businesses. The former may charge slightly more but you get peace of mind knowing that

TAXI
Taxis to Sharjah and the other northern emirates incur a Dh20 surcharge. Shared taxi leave
from Al Ghubaiba bus station and cost Dh20 to Sharjah and Dh50 to Abu Dhabi. Engaged
cabs to Abu Dhabi range from Dh250 to Dh350, depending on distance and company. To
