Sisters Tatiana and Claudia run this small, cheerful lodging with a handful of colorful
rooms around a tiny courtyard. Kitchen use is extra but it's a steal.
ROYAL INKA HOTEL PISAC $$
( 20-3064, 20-3066; www.royalinkahotel.com ; s/d incl breakfast S154/212; ) Once a large
hacienda, this surprisingly unpretentious hotel has generous rooms - many of which offer
views of the ruins - as well as well-tended flower gardens. Guests can access the facilities
of Club Royal Inka across the road, plus the on-site spa and Jacuzzi. The wi-fi only works
in some areas. This hotel is a highly worthwhile splurge.
It's about 1.5km from the plaza up the road to the ruins.

MULLU $$
Offline map
( 20-3073; www.mullu.pe ; San Francisco s/n, 2nd l; mains S14-44; 9am-9pm) Josip welcomes his
guests with high-octane hospitality and a menu of wanderlust (think: Thai meets Amazon
and flirts with highland Peruvian). Chilled and very welcoming, and the traditional lamb
is tender to falling-off-the-bone.
