leaf is associated with the reduction on fi lled grains (Fig. 41).
Similarly, application of phosphorus infl uenced the yield
and yield components in rice. A fi eld experiment, at Chungbuk,
showed that there are appreciable changes due to application
of phosphorus; all yield and yield components are enhanced
by the application of phosphorus, even the grain fi lling ratio
(Table 27).
