Social Media Promotional Techniques: Facebook, Google+, and
Twitter
Everyone seems to be very confused about how to use social media to grow a blog, but if
you implement the following steps and advice, you'll find that your social media promotion
will not only be very powerful, but almost automated (in other words, will take very little
time).
First we're going to talk about how to make each post on your website as “social” as pos-
sible. Remember how I told you to make each post you write ABSOLUTELY AMAZING?
Well now every time someone reads your post, they're probably going to want to share that
amazing post with their friends and family, and not only are we going to encourage that be-
havior, we're going to make it as easy as possible for them to do so.
At the end of every post I write, I always include the following calls to action:
1. Follow me on any one of my social networks.
2. Share this article on your preferred social network.
3. Leave a comment.
4. Don't forget to join my mailing list.
You'd be surprised how effective this is! My goal is to have every reader perform at least
one of those actions. If people enjoyed your article, they'll usually do at least one of those
things, and that means you've gained a little more exposure for your blog, and possibly a
new lifetime reader.
Note: For some of these calls to action, certain plugins are really helpful. You can watch
me install and configure plugins in the video lesson on this page:

Here is an explanation of how to implement and treat each of the calls to action:
1. Follow me on any social network.
