Dr. Mark J. Jackson (jacksomj@purdue.edu) is Associate Professor in the
College of Technology at Purdue University. He conducts research in the area
of machining and grinding processes and is currently investigating micro
machining mechanisms and nanomanufacturing. Dr. Jackson was educated at
Liverpool and Cambridge universities in the United Kingdom. His degrees are
in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, and physics.
