In searching for literature on data for burst disc valves or diaphragm
valves, one source was found to contain data on opening times for these valve
types. As can be seen in Figure 18, a Mylar burst disc results in time to
maximum pressure of approximately 60 µs (Baksht and Fedyunin, 1989).
