worked with the likes of Gordon Ramsay and Heston Blumenthal, local lad Aled Williams
has returned home to front this upmarket restaurant, attached to a wonderful butchers,
which in turn is attached to a local farm. Settle in beneath the centuries-old beams and
tuck into the best quality local black beef, lamb and sea bass.

Climb the stairs
to the top of Ye Olde Bulls Head Inn for elegant decor, a refined ambience and lovingly
crafted food, focusing on seasonal Anglesey produce. The buzzy brasserie downstairs will
certainly be kinder on your wallet (mains £11 to £15), but the food can be hit and miss.
Finish up beside the roaring fire in the downstairs bar, one of the most atmospheric drink-
ing spots in Beaumaris.
