alleyway off Mostyn St, this homey pub makes staunchly traditional meals using high-
quality local ingredients: Menai mussels, slow-roasted pork belly, beef-and-ale pie (veget-
arian options exist, but are tame in comparison). Good beer, smiling service and a flower-
filled beer garden enhance the experience.

ant serves a hearty selection of British, French and Italian dishes. Staff are friendly, the set
menus are good value, and there's even a three-course vegetarian alternative available.

want to live the grand Victorian fantasy, starch your shirt and head to Osbourne House,
where military types peer out of gilt frames from black walls offset with white columns
and candle-powered chandeliers. Even the seafood-heavy menu values tradition over con-
temporary tomfoolery. The prices are very reasonable given the ambience.
