place for breakfasts (croissants, eggs or a fry-up) and snack lunches (soup, quiche, baked
potatoes, salads and wraps), this little gem has a sunny patio and an equally sunny disposi-
tion. It's located upstairs from the Salt & Pepper kitchenware shop, and the neighbouring
clothes boutique is part of the same group.

Getting There & Around
Bus route 69 runs along the Wye Valley from Monmouth to Chepstow (40 minutes) via
Tintern (35 minutes); route 83 heads to Abergavenny (45 minutes) via Raglan (20
minutes); and route 60 heads to Newport (55 minutes) via Raglan.
National Express ( www.nationalexpress.com ) coaches head from Monmouth to Birmingham
(£19.50, 1½ hours), Newport (£8.20, 35 minutes) and Cardiff (£10.70, 1¼ hours).
There's free parking on Cinderhill St, near St Thomas the Martyr's Church.
