8.3 MANURE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Manure management is critical for interior air quality control. Manure systems can
be characterized as dry or semisolid systems such as litter and bedding used in
broilers, turkeys, and dairy barns, and liquid or slurry systems found in swine and
