spot serving two menus; Ethiopian and Continental. The service is good and there's plenty
of art on the walls.

location, this place at the Gymkhana Club is in the same family as the wonderful Shanghai,
Sazan
JAPANESE $

serving inexpensive ramen, pork curry and sashimi has more in common with an American
greasy spoon than Tokyo Izakaya. You wouldn't expect good things from it, but you'll be
pleasantly surprised.

The Bay Leaf

tures dishes such as spiced tandoori tofu curry and confit of organic duck leg on lentils plus
a great wine list; by the glass and bottle. Seating indoors and out. It has some very expens-
ive but unspectacular hotel rooms too.
