In-Depth Information
attend a meeting of the Zanzibar Rotary Club while you're on the island. The
club is very active, raising funds for health and educational needs. Recent pro-
jects have included assistance to Makunduchi Hospital, donation of school
desks to a local school and ongoing assistance to Zanzibar's albino community.
Check out their Facebook page for more details. Meetings are currently held
Wednesdays at 5pm at the Zanzibar Serena Hotel, but as the venue sometimes
changes, it's best to drop a line first to rotary@zanzibar.cc.
