proprietors bring out course after course of delicious local delicacies. Advance reservations

Mtoni Marine's well-regarded main restaurant has a range of seafood and meat grills, and
waterside barbecues several times weekly, sometimes with a backdrop of taarab or other
traditional music.
Mcheza Bar PUB $$
(meals Tsh12,000-20,000; lunch & dinner; ) Next door to Mtoni Marine Centre is
this beachside sports bar, with a mix of booth and table seating, two big screens, plus bur-
gers and pub food, seafood, South African steaks and a pizza oven.
Raintree Restaurant EUROPEAN $$$

ant dining in a lovely setting overlooking the surrounding gardens and the water, including
delicious seafood grills and salads. It also has free shuttle service from Stone Town.

Stone Town isn't known for its nightlife, but there are a few popular spots.
Africa House Hotel BAR
