Creating a Template-Based Page
• On the Application bar, click File, and then click New.
• Click Page from Template in the New Document dialog box.
• Select the current site, and then select the template from which you want to create
the page.
• Click the Create button.
• Enter the appropriate content into the editable regions of the page, and then save
the page.

Gage wants to see a sample page from the new template. You will create a new page
from the nb_main.dwt template, and then add a new page heading and some content to
the test page.

To create a new Web page from the nb_main.dwt template:

1. On the Application bar, click File , and then click New . The New Document dialog
box opens.

You can also press the
Ctrl+N keys to open the
New Document dialog box.

2. Click Page from Template . The Page from Template options appear in the
dialog box.

3. In the Site box, click NextBest Fest , if necessary, and then, in the Template for
Site “NextBest Fest” box, click nb_main . A preview of the selected template page
appears in the dialog box. See Figure 6-20.
