In the covered 'green' market, women in white headscarves
sell fresh fruit and vegetables, in competition with the large supermarket next door. On
the other side of the supermarket is an attractive little outdoor market selling mainly
clothes and shoes. More interesting is the little shop on its edge selling traditional wool-
len rugs.

eight daily), Podgorica (€6, 12 daily) and Rožaje (€14, daily). International destinations
include Shkodra (€6, two daily), Priština (€18, six daily), Sarajevo (€26, daily) and Bel-
grade (€33, four daily).
A minibus to Velika Plaža or Ada Bojana from Gjergj Kastrioti Sk ё nderbeu will cost
about €2.50.

Velika Plaža & Ada Bojana Велика Плажа и Ада Бојана
The appropriately named Velika Plaža (Big Beach) starts 4km southeast of Ulcinj and
stretches for 12 sandy kilometres. Sections of it sprout deckchairs but there's still plenty
of space for solitude. To be frank, this large flat expanse isn't quite as picturesque as it
sounds and the water is painfully shallow - great for kids but you'll need to walk out a
fair way for a decent swim.
On the way to Velika Plaža is the murky

where the local fishermen use nets
