the main road into the town centre has a bunch of well-maintained rooms, all fan cooled
and with mosquito nets and hot water, though some are a little on the small side and rather
mildewy. There's a communal kitchen and it's secure and welcoming.

venient for buses, this budget place charges extra for hot water and air-con. Rooms are
modern and clean and have decent bathrooms as well as balconies offering sweeping
views over, er, 'scenic' Bamenda.

This compound is intended for ex-soldiers, but if rooms are
available they'll be happily rented out to travellers on a tight budget; expect very basic
digs with running water. It's a decent deal, but solo female travellers may feel uncomfort-
able.
