minutes before you ordered it.

range local tours, hotels and bookings with the Mt Cameroon Ecotourism Organisation.
Internet access is available at Computer World (Banley St; per hr CFA300;
closed Sun) . Ahidjo St
has several ATMs.
Getting There & Away
The main motor park is Mile 4, about 6km out of town. Minibuses and taxis brousses
leave approximately hourly to Buea (CFA800, 25 minutes) and Douala (CFA1500, 70
minutes). From Mile 2, there are buses to Yaoundé (CFA5000, five hours).
Ferries ( 9998 9491, info 7727 6211) travel every Monday and Thursday from Limbe to
Calabar in Nigeria (1st/2nd class CFA35,000/45,000, four hours), departing at 2am and re-
turning on Tuesday and Friday at 7am. Take your own food and water.
Ferries weren't going to Malabo in Equatorial Guinea at the time of research, although
a new ferry service was being discussed in late 2012.

Bamenda
The capital of Northwest Province is a dusty sprawl that tumbles down a hill at an altitude
of more than 1000m; you'll see some impressive views of the town as you descend the
hill coming from Douala. With a decent range of hotels and restaurants, it's a good
jumping-off point for exploring the Ring Road circuit. It's also a centre of political oppos-
ition to President Biya.
