beyond along the coast, this is a good choice if you want to enjoy the beach and some
creature comforts. The location is gorgeous, with full frontage onto the beach and views
of Equatorial Guinea rising in the distance, while touches such as a freshwater swimming
pool and a spa make for great relaxation. Service can be on the surly side, but otherwise
this is a highly recommended place.

on a wave-kissed cliff backed by screaming jungle is unbeatable. Accommodation is in
cute, if rather dark, boukarous (self-contained huts) that abut a restaurant and a decent-
sized, though rather green, swimming pool. Book ahead, as this place remains Limbe's
most popular choice.
Eating
The Hot Spot INTERNATIONAL $

(Limbe Botanical Gardens; mains CFA3000-4000; 7.30am-11pm) With hands down the best location in
town, overlooking the dramatic coastline and the Park Hotel Miramar, this place offers a
fairly standard selection of meat grills, shrimps, fish and chicken dishes. The friendly
staff, outdoor seating and views make it, though. On the dirt road to the hotels through the
gardens take the middle path after the bridge.
Le Moulin INTERNATIONAL $

(Idenao Rd; mains CFA2000-3000; 10am-10pm) Right on the roundabout in the thick of things, Le
Moulin is the best eating option in the town centre. The menu encompasses ndole, chicken
and beef dishes served up with fresh vegetables, plantains or rice. Service is friendly.
