MAPS: Green Trails Map 2886S-Santa Catalina Mountains , USFS Pusch Ridge Wilderness ,
USGS Sabino Canyon ; free map at visitor center
FACILITIES: Visitor center, flush toilets, vending machines
WHEELCHAIR ACCESS: Visitor center, toilets, Sabino Canyon Road , and the first 0.8 mile of
the trail (requires some pushes)
COMMENTS: No pets; no bicycles; horses permitted but rarely encountered. Large parking lot
fills by mid-morning on spring weekends—if you park on the road outside, you risk a ticket.
(However, if you drive 0.2 mile north on Sabino Canyon Road, past the No Parking signs, you can
park and walk back.) The last trail section is signed and mapped as 1.7 miles, but I measured it at
about 1.3 miles on my GPS. (It certainly felt like 1.7!)
