KL's two Little Indias - the official one in Brickfields and the other around Masjid India -
are the places to sample Indian cooking, although you'll find the cuisine of the subcontin-
ent served right across the city. Further afield, Klang's Little India also has an excellent
array of Indian eateries.
A very KL experience is taking supper late at night at an Indian Muslim eatery known
as a mamak; these typically run 24 hours, serve comfort food dishes such as roti canai,
mee goreng (fried noodles) and murtabak (pancakes stuffed with meat).
