This itinerary takes in the highlights of the Republic with a range that encompasses
beaches, shopping, archaeological sites, forested mountains and the urban chic of the big

Fly into
Larnaka
and dip your feet into the Mediterranean at the local beaches before
exploring the town, visiting the superb Pierides Archaeological Foundation, checking out
the crafts sold from workshops in the former Turkish quarter, and enjoying a fine seafood
meze at a beachside restaurant. Day three, head for
Nicosia (Lefkosia)
, to spend a couple
of days getting to know the historical centre with its museums, shops and traditional res-
