One of the first seafood restaurants to open here, dating from 1939, this longtime popular
place is located at the entrance to the harbour, with a large terrace; most (though not all)
of the fish on display here is caught on the day.

Stop by the CTO office for details of events. Ticketed concerts, often given by top-name
Greek artists, take place in the Eukalyptionas (Eucalyptus Grove) at Polis Camp Site.
These outdoor events can be magical on a hot summer night. Tickets cost between €10
and €20.

Pafos Buses ( www.pafosbuses.com ) has daily service to/from Polis leaving from Karavella Bus
Station in Ktima. All buses depart from Osypa Bus Station in Polis.
A Baths of Aphrodite Bus 622; 30 minutes, €1.50. Hourly 6am-noon and 3-6pm week-
days, seven on weekends.
A Latsi Bus 623; 20 minutes, €1.50. Two daily.
A Pafos Bus 645; one hour, €1.50. Up to 11 on weekdays, five on weekends.
A Pomos Bus 643A; one hour, €1.50. Three on weekdays, two on weekends.
Baths of Aphrodite
The myth surrounding the cool cave that is the Baths of Aphrodite (Loutra tis Afroditis) is
great advertising. Aphrodite, goddess of love and patron of Cyprus, came to the island in a
shower of foam and nakedness, launching a cult that has remained to this day. Legend has
it that she came to this secluded spot to bathe after entertaining her lovers.
The baths attract a steady crowd, but it is easy to wonder if the visitors expect more
