In-Depth Information
Originally from Yorkshire, the family owners offer visitors a 100ml tasting of five beers
for €3.50 and tours by master brewer (and daughter) Melanie. Production is a frothy
4000L a year and the favourite brew is Yorkshire Rose. There's a small outside bar with
terrace; a pint costs around €1.80.
An on-site shop sells some gourmet goodies like mustard infused with beer. The brew-
ery is located around 9km northeast of Pafos, just after the turn-off to Tsada, on the B7 to-
wards Polis.
Cydive
DIVING
The waters off Pafos are ideal for diving, with around 50 sites to explore. This is a profes-
sional, long-standing company which has its own swimming pool and a large store selling
diving kits, swimwear and similar. Single dives, including all equipment, cost €53; a pack-
age of 10 dives costs €451.
Cydive also offers Bubble Maker (€40-45), a full scuba gear diving experience for chil-
dren between eight and 10 years old. There are two programs: the first in a pool, the
second taking that grand leap to the sea. It's a great watery way to get youngsters interes-
ted in diving, and this PADI-trained team ensures a safe and confined environment at all
times.
