Larnaka & the East
Water Sports & Swimming
One of the world's top 10 diving wrecks is just off the coast at Larnaka, plus there is plenty
of scope for snorkelling, windsurfing, kite-boarding, boat rides and swimming (particularly
around the sea caves).
Nightlife
Although it has tamed down a double measure or more, since its wild heyday, Agia Napa
still has the most concentrated (and spirited) nightlife on the island - and the promenade in
Larnaka also has plenty of bar-hopping choice.
Beaches & Capes
The east of the island has some good beaches, particularly around Agia Napa, where you
will find sweeps of golden sand instead of the more usual pebble and shingle.
