future of this excellent surf school was in doubt at time of research, as new developments
had evicted them from their location on Praia da Ribeira d'Ilhas. Still, it's worth getting in
touch with them as lessons and rentals will likely continue from a different base.

ment between Praia de São Sebastião and the campground has a bright, spacious living

becue area. Multilingual proprietress Luzia is generous in sharing her knowledge of the
local area, and her abundant attention to the smallest details really shows, including com-

A well-run, well-kept place with light, bright and all-white rooms in a nice location at
the end of a pedestrian street. The best digs upstairs have small terraces with lovely sea
views for €10 extra. Parking under the building costs €3 per night. Wi-fi available in pub-
