a seafood lover, head for this widely acclaimed, no-frills restaurant located in a former
boatyard on the beach at Marina di Praia. Da Armandino is great for fish fresh off the
boat. There is no menu, just opt for the dish of the day - it's all excellent. The holiday at-
mosphere and appealing setting - at the foot of sheer cliffs towering up to the main road -
round things off nicely.

Part of a hotel of the same name, this restaurant is located half way down the steep steps
leading to the marina (just beyond the defensive tower). Sit outside for the best views of
the bay. The food here reflects an innovative take on traditional cuisine and includes a
plentiful salad choice - just the thing on a sizzling summer's day.

from €5) Located on the main street in town, this long- established restaurant is famed for
its seafood and pizzas. The dining room has sweeping views over the rooftops to the sea
while owner Gianni greets everyone like an old friend - in Italian, naturally; it's a favour-
ite haunt of locals.

memorable boogie of your life. Africana has been going since the '50s when Jackie
