Drinking & Entertainment
Capri's nightlife is a showy business. The main activity is dressing up and hanging out,
ideally at one of the four cafes on La Piazzetta (Piazza Umberto 1). Aside from the cafes,
the nightlife here is fairly staid, with surprisingly few nightclubs, given the penchant for
the locals to glitz up and strut their stuff.

erna Anema e Core, run by the charismatic Guido Lembo. This smooth and sophisticated
bar-cum-nightclub attracts an appealing mixture of super chic and casually dressed
punters, here for the relaxed atmosphere and regular live music, including unwaveringly
authentic Neapolitan guitar strumming and singing.
Guarrancino

( 081 837 05 14; Via Castello 7, Capri Town; Apr-Oct) Located under the arches,
this place dates back to 1972, when brothers Brun and Gianni Lembo started playing the
songs they learned from their father, the original owner. Today you can warble along with
the best of them during a lively sing-song show that sounds naff but has a heady good-
time holiday atmosphere.
