This sprawling market contains the 14th-century
bedesten
(warehouse), reconstructed after the 1855 earthquake.

Originally a hamam, the 14th-century Eski Ayn-
alı Çarşı features a domed ceiling with skylights. Karagöz shadow puppets and other
traditional items are sold here. Found in the Kapalı Çarşı.
