In the population exchange of the 1920s ( Click here ), Şirince was repopulated by Turks from northern Greece,
who retained the local alcohol trade. You can sample their wines (made from raspberry, peach, black mulberry and
pomegranate) in local restaurants and cafes. If ordering expensive wine, ask for it to be poured in front of you.
Local miscreants have been known to give refills of cheap house wine, presuming (correctly) that tourists will never
know the difference.

every 30 minutes in summer, hourly in winter.
