bükü's understated Ship Ahoy: essentially just a wide dock extending over the water, it's
the first port of call for Türkbükü's glamorous summer guests. While the average traveller
could not even approach a Western beach bar frequented by glitterati and politicos, in Tur-
key you can even reserve a table.

Getting Around
From Bodrum, turquoise dolmuşes serve peninsula coastal spots (

9). The terminus
name is printed or painted on the minibus. From the otogar, two main lines traverse the
peninsula. The first (west) serves Bitez, Ortakent, Turgutreis, Gümüşlük and Yalıkavak.
The second (north) serves Torba and Yalıkavak.
Turgutreis, Gümüşlük and Yalıkavak also get a separate dolmuş. From Yalıkavak to Bod-
rum takes one hour or so; estimate 15 minutes between each bay.
