Activities
Ferry Cruises
The mighty Bosphorus strait runs from the Sea of Marmara (Marmara Denizi) to the
Black Sea (Karadeniz), located 32km north of the city centre. On one side is Asia; on the
other, Europe.
A ferry journey - whether a short return trip on a commuter ferry to Kadıköy or
Üsküdar, on which you cross from Europe to Asia and back again, or a longer cruise - is
an essential activity while you are in İstanbul.
