History Details
You can click on that graph I mentioned in order to expand it out to the history details
screen for more battery information. The battery graph should be a steady downward slope
unless you entered into some processing intense apps like gaming at an earlier point in
time. They'll be bars below showing the relative times where your Wi-Fi has been on, your
phones been awake, the screen's been on, and your phones been charging. If you see an
anomaly such as massive decreases in battery life or the screen being on way longer than it
needed to, then that should give you an indication of where your problem may lie.
Services and Apps on Battery Saver Screen
When you want to see what's specifically taking up all your battery and by what percentage,
you're going to want to look at the services and apps below the battery history graph. In
most cases, your number one offenders are your phones services themselves and not the
apps. To have your phone's screen on consumes a lot of battery power and that could be the
first place to take a look at. Click on Screen and go to display under adjust power use. This
will bring you to the Display settings (Also accessible from the settings menu) where you'll
see a few useful options here including brightness, wallpaper, and sleep.

Brightness - The more bright you leave your screen, the more energy it's
going to use up while you're using your phone. Consider toning it down if
you don't mind a darker screen.
Wallpaper - There are a lot of really cool animated wallpapers that you
can use with android called Live Wallpapers. However, these consume more
power and you may want to switch to a static image as an alternative.
Sleep - Right under this option, you will see the timer that your phone has
to turn its screen off from inactivity. Since having a screen on is such a huge
part of power consumption, setting this to a lower setting may have a large
impact if you forget to manually lock your phone a lot. I'd advise not set-
ting it too quick to auto sleep though since it can be annoying to unlock your
