The splendiferous Gran Teatre del Liceu has been knocking out Puccini arias longer than -
well - Puccini. If you can't make a performance, come for a guided tour, where you'll get a
peak at the grand foyer, with its thick pillars and sumptuous chandeliers. Head up the
marble staircase to the fresco-filled Saló dels Miralls (Hall of Mirrors) before heading into
the gilded theatre itself.
