These gentle rafting trips down the Río Corobicí emphasize wildlife observation rather
than exciting white-water rafting. The river is Class I-II (in other words, pretty flat), but
families and birders will love it. Swimming holes are found along the river. The company
also offers one Class III-IV white-water trip per day. Discounts for kids under 14.

The popular Ríos Tropicales offers Class I-II family 'float tours' for flora and fauna view-
ing. For the more adventurous, there are Class III-V white-water rafting trips on Río
Tenorio that feature a death-defying 3.6m drop. Ríos Tropicales operates out of the Rincón
Corobicí restaurant.

Many of the restaurants in town shut down on Sunday, but luckily there's an enormous Su-
