Garden lilies are particularly subject to
Botrytis blight and mosaic. Madonna lilies are
most susceptible, with leaves often completely
blackened in wet weather. Copper sprays are
perhaps most effective. The only sure way to be
free from mosaic and other virus diseases is to
grow lilies from seed in an isolated portion of the
garden.
