terns, this lively haunt has lovely views of the Nam Ou. The menu encompasses noodles,
fried dishes and làhp. A real traveller magnet, it deserves all the attention it receives.

Phetdavanh Street Buffet
(per person 20,000K; 7pm) Phetdavanh runs an affordable nightly buffet that draws in loc-
als and travellers alike. It sets up on the street around 7pm, serving barbecued pork, chick-
en, fish, sticky rice and vegetables.

(mains 10,000-20,000K; 7.30am-9pm) This is a Main St house-restaurant on whose deck you
can get Muang Ngoi's most exotic dessert: a plate of fried bananas flambéed in lòw-lów .
Also imaginative is the falang roll, with peanut butter, banana, sticky rice and honey.

cue restaurant-cum-beer-garden has a relaxed ambience. Choose from Lao dishes and
some comfort food or stroll along here for happy hour cocktails between 5pm and 8pm.
