This underlit trattoria has them queuing at the door (especially on week-
ends). The intimate room showcases seasonal Italian dishes cooked with Mediterranean
zing: lots of busy black-clad waiters, lots of Italian chatter, lots of oversized sunglasses -
somehow Rome doesn't seem so far away… No bookings.

Italian food in a bustling atmosphere. The huge menu changes seasonally, but some fa-

at this hip, low-ceilinged food nook draws inspiration from Southeast Asian street food.
Dishes such as crispy-skin duck with tamarind and orange are bold, balanced and invari-
ably delicious. There's usually a wait for a seat at the long communal table - grab a stool
and a cocktail at the attached bar.
