of Bellagio in the hamlet of Lezzeno. Run by Claudio and Giuseppe, it is one of the few
fish farms left on the lake and is Slow Food recommended. Sample traditional fish speci-
alities such as lavarello in balsamic vinegar and the robust-flavoured missoltino (fish
dried in salt and bay leaves).

Terrazza Barchetta

7-10.30pm) Barchetta's intimate terrace in Bellagio's old town is a fine place for a meal.
The restaurant has been around since 1887, which is plenty of time to have perfected
dishes such as perch in a pistacchio crust or guinea fowl with whisky and mushroom
sauce.
