4.4 .A2 .1 that the Price Statement is accepted

or

4.4 .A2 .2 that the Price Statement, or a part thereof, is not accepted.

4.4 A3 Where the Price Statement or a part thereof has been accepted the price
in that accepted Price Statement or in that part which has been accepted
shall be added to or deducted from the Trade Contract Sum.

4.4 A4 Where the Price Statement or a part thereof has not been accepted:

4.4 .A4 .1 the Construction Manager shall include in his notification to the

Trade Contractor the reasons for not having accepted the Price
Statement, or a part thereof, which reasons shall be set out in
similar detail to that given by the Trade Contractor in his Price
Statement and supply to the Trade Contractor an amended Price
Statement which is acceptable to the Construction Manager;

4.4 .A4 .2 within 14 days from receipt of the amended Price Statement the

Trade Contractor shall state whether or not he accepts the amended
Price Statement or part thereof and if accepted paragraph A3 shall
apply to that amended Price Statement or part thereof; if no state-
ment within the 14 days period is made the Trade Contractor shall
be deemed not to have accepted, in whole or in part, the amended
Price Statement;

4.4 .A4 .3 to the extent that the amended Price Statement is not accepted by the

Trade Contractor, the Trade Contractor's Price Statement and the
amended Price Statement may be referred either by the Client or by
the Trade Contractor as a dispute or difference to the Adjudicator in
accordance with the provisions of Section 9 of this Trade Contract.

4.4 A5 Where no notification has been given pursuant to paragraph A2 the
Price Statement is deemed not to have been accepted, and the Trade
Contractor may on or after the expiry of the 24 day period to which
paragraph A2 refers, refer his Price Statement as a dispute or difference
to the Adjudicator in accordance with the provisions of Section 9 of this
Trade Contract.
4.4 A6 Where a Price Statement is not accepted by the Construction Manager
after consultation with the Architect or an amended Price Statement has
not been accepted by the Trade Contractor and no reference to the
Adjudicator under paragraph A4.3 or paragraph A5 has been made,
Alternative B shall apply.

4.4 A7 .1 Where the Trade Contractor pursuant to paragraph A1 has

attached his requirements to his Price Statement the Construction
Manager shall within 24 days of receipt thereof notify the Trade
Contractor:

4.4 .A7 .1 .1 either that the requirement in paragraph A1.1 in respect of the

amount to be paid in lieu of any ascertainment under clause
4.21 is accepted or that the requirement is not accepted and
