5 SKYE MUSEUM OF ISLAND LIFE
Run by local Gaelic speakers, this recreation of an island township ( Click here )
provides an educational and informative look at Skye history and a nostalgic glimpse
of daily life during the 19th century. Thatched cottages include the original croft house,
the barn, the weaver's cottage, the old smithy and the ceilidh house.
