Rouge plant complex, Dearborn, Michigan. During a $2 billion plant renova-
tion, with environmental leadership by William McDonough & Partners, Cahill
Associates was brought in to provide sustainable stormwater management plan-
ning and design. The first of many improvements at the River Rouge plant
included new Mustang vehicle storage and staging parking lots. Cahill Asso-
ciates designed a system using porous pavement, subsurface storage, and water
quality swales to capture and treat stormwater runoff (Figure B-35). Similar
