VANCOUVER ART GALLERY
Located in a heritage courthouse building, but aiming for a fancy new
venue near the main library in the coming years, the VAG is the region's
most important art gallery. Transforming itself in recent years, it's now a
vital part of the city's cultural scene. Contemporary exhibitions - often
showcasing Vancouver's wealth of renowned photoconceptualists - are
combined with blockbuster traveling shows from leading galleries in
North America and around the world.
