Xinyi
If you like wandering about a nice neighbourhood and choosing where to eat, then take
Exit 2 at SYS Memorial Hall MRT. The back area, and especially Lanes 240 to 280, is
filled with cafes and restaurants serving Sichuan, hot pots, vegetarian, Russian, Mexican,
burgers and so on. Many have open decks and patios.
Around Taipei 101 there are more high-end malls than seems sustainable, but they all
do a roaring business in their food courts and restaurants.
