In-Depth Information
attraction and you will be allowed into the Express Pass line - this line will get you onto
the ride quicker but may take up to 15 minutes during busy periods of the year.
Until that time you could go and experience another attraction or show in the regular line,
go shopping, get something to eat, etc. One great feature of the Q-Bot is that you can make
your ride reservations anywhere on the device and do not have to be physically present at
that attraction to reserve -this means forexample that youcould be having lunch and make
a reservation for Despicable Me Minion Mayhem for example.
Cancelling reservations:
You may cancel reservations at any time, but you may only have one ride reservation at a
time. In order to create another reservation you must experience the ride or cancel a reser-
vation. Going back to our previous example, you can ride Revenge of the Mummy any time
after 14:40. If it is 14:45 and you have still not used your RoTM reservation, you cannot
book another ride reservation until you use the RoTM reservation or cancel it. Do not can-
cel your reservation as you walk up to the ride, the attendant will do that for you.
What are my options?
There are two versions of the system like the Express Pass - one provides one reservation
perride,theotherprovidesunlimited reservations perridemeaning thatyoucanmakemul-
tiple reservations for the same ride after one another.
Is it worth it?
Given the option of Express Passes and the Q-Bot and an unlimited supply of money, of
course the Express Passes win as you will be on a ride within a maximum of 15 minutes -
and usually in less than 5 minutes. However, if you have a more limited budget and do not
like waiting in long lines then this could be the perfect system for you.
Theoretically you will not need to queue at all for rides as you make reservations, and use
that time instead to watch shows, shop, dine and meet characters. In reality though, the Q-
Bot will simply allow you to double the number of attractions you do as you use the normal
queue line for one, and make a reservation for another. To get the most out of this system
we recommend making Q-Bot reservations for the rides with the longest waits instead of
several with shorter waits.
If you are visiting both parks in one day and want to skip the lines at both, then the Q-Bot is
unlikely to be a good option as you will need to purchase one Q-Bot at each park which is a
lot of hassle and becoming tiresome - we recommend an Express Pass in this case despite
the extra cost.
