A the time of writing, the 2015 holiday season is almost a year away and it is difficult to
predict exactly what will be taking place at the time. However, Universal Orlando has been
pretty consistent with its Holiday season over the years and we would expect all the above
events to take place as they did in 2014.
A Celebration of Harry Potter 2015
January 30 th 2015 to February 1 st 2015
The 'Celebration of Harry Potter' event first ran at Universal Orlando in 2014 and proved
such a success that it is returning in early 2015 for three full days of Wizarding fun. During
the event you can see talent from the Harry Potter films, learn the proper way to wield a
wand, tour props and set pieces from the films, see what Hogwarts house the Sorting Hat
chooses for you, and much more. Most of the parts of this three day event are included in
park admission and carry no additional charge. Full details are still not available at the time
of writing but this is what we know so far. It is three magical days no Harry Potter fan will
want to miss.
Film stars and autographs:
Several Harry Potter film stars will be present throughout the event, including to sign auto-
graphs. Park guests can expect to see:
• Michael Gambon (Albus Dumbledore)
• Robbie Coltrane (Rubeus Hagrid)
• Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood)
• James Phelps (Fred Weasley)
• Oliver Phelps (George Weasley)
A Celebration of Harry Potter Expo:
Make your way through interactive displays in this unique collection of Harry Potter
themed props, movie sets, artwork and more. This year, Universal Orlando will welcome
back Harry Potter: The Exhibition, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, MinaLima, Potter-
more.com, Scholastic, and Warner Bros. as part of the A Celebration of Harry Potter Expo.
• The Sorting Hat Experience - Are you a Gryffindor, or a Slytherin? A
Hufflepuff?PerhapsaRavenclaw? Atthebeginning ofeach schoolyearthe
Sorting Hat sorts new Hogwarts students into their houses, and you'll have
the opportunity to get sorted in a Hogwarts-inspired setting. Sponsored by
Harry Potter: The Exhibition.
