Force Touch
Not only does Apple Watch recognize a tap of your finger, but it also senses the force of a
tap. That means you can press firmly on the screen to bring up additional controls, select
different watch faces, search an address and more. Force Touch works by using tiny
electrodes around the flexile Retina display to distinguish between a light tap and a
forceful press. It's the most significant new sensing capability since Multi-Touch was
introduced alongside the iPhone.
