mat. You can buy proper floor paint at your local DIY superstore. Although this shed
is quite small, 10×5ft internal dimensions, I have fitted in a large mill, a Myford ML7R
lathe, a drilling machine and a cabinet to store milling accessories. Do try to keep the
workshop clean and tidy, as it helps ensure safety.
USING THE MACHINE
Starting up
Always double check to make sure your work is securely clamped in the vice
before starting the mill. Rotate large cutters such as face mills or flycutters by
hand to make sure they clear the work. Be certain that the cutter turns freely
and is firmly mounted. The speed of the milling machine must be checked be-
fore turning it on . If necessary, start the milling machine at a low speed and
increase the speed gradually.
