handwheel revolution rather than an odd one. The dial should be engraved to
suit the leadscrew movement, not an arbitrary number of divisions that bears
no relationship to the leadscrew pitch.
Compare the total price, like for like, from different suppliers. Add up the
basic cost of the machine, any accessories you need such as a vice, the car-
riage price and make sure the VAT is included in the total. You can of course
buy the machine from one supplier and the tooling from another supplier or
even several other suppliers.
