Capable of performing inspection, analysis, and
evaluation of facility components within one or more
craft areas.
Capable of directing and supervising Level I and II
technicians.

Craft Skill Set
Knowledge of electrical power systems maintenance,
repair and replacement, and installation of electrical
power distribution raceway, wiring, devices, and
equipment.
Knowledge of the application and use of testing
equipment for checking, testing, and analyzing
electrical systems and equipment (including ammeter,
oscilloscope, voltage tester, phase and rotation tester,
and multimeter).
Capable of sizing, routing, measurement, and
installation of raceway systems, including EMT, REC,
and FEC, along with junction boxes, device boxes, and
panel/equipment connections.
Capable of installing conductors in raceway systems…
pulling wire and making connections/terminations.
Maintain and repair low voltage systems including fire,
alarm and access systems.
Test electrical equipment for safety and efficiency.

Minimum 6 or more years working in construction or building
Experience maintenance.

The following “specialty” maintenance staff require the highest level of
skills and should, therefore, classified as Level III technicians.
